Simplifying Customizing Obsidian with the Settings Search Plugin
One of the amazing things about Obsidian is how easy it is to customize it to your specific needs. There isn’t almost any aspect of Obsidian that can’t be customized, including many of the plugins that are available from the community plugin ecosystem.
However, the more plugins you have, the more difficult it becomes to configure because you can have hundreds of configurable settings. Finding the settings you need to change from the myriad of possible settings can be difficult.
In this video, I demonstrate the Settings Search Community plugin. It’s a simple plugin that adds a search box in the settings screen that allows you to see where settings are in various parts of the settings screen.
Type in your interest and all the possible matches are listed. Once you identify the setting you want to change, you can easily click on a little arrow to bring you to the appropriate destination point. I very much enjoy using this plugin and highly recommend it.
